What Is Sofwave?

Sofwave is a handheld device that uses ultrasound to penetrate into the deep layers of the skin. It uses Intense Ultrasound Beam™ technology to generate heat in the mid-dermal layer of the skin, precisely targeting a specific tissue depth, to minimize discomfort. The ultrasound energy and heat generated by Sofwave stimulate the production of new collagen and elastin in the skin, resulting in smoother, tighter skin.

Sofwave was cleared by the FDA in 2019 to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the face and neck. This clinically-proven device is ideal for treating aging skin that is starting to show signs of laxity.

Treatments are noninvasive and take about 90 minutes, and there is no downtime post-treatment.

What Does Sofwave Treat?

Sofwave is designed to treat mild to moderate skin laxity on the face, jawline, neck, and chest. It can be used to treat:

How Soon Will I See Results?

Patients often see initial results from their Sofwave treatments within 3-4 weeks following treatment. During treatment, the skin’s natural healing process is triggered, and it can take up to 12 weeks for your body to complete its collagen regeneration process, so you can expect to see gradual improvements over the course of 3 months following a Sofwave treatment.

How Many Sofwave Treatments Will I Need?

Most patients see results after just 1 treatment, but you may need additional treatments to achieve your aesthetic goals and to maintain your results.
