About Gena

Gena began her career in the health and wellness industry as a Neuromuscular Therapist working in health clubs. After taking a position at a day spa, she developed an interest in Aesthetics and received her Aesthetician License from Hanover Park College of Beauty Culture in 2000. Upon graduation, Gena gained employment with a board-certified dermatologist for 14 years, where she further enhanced her skin care knowledge and honed her clinical skills.

At Dr. Burke’s practice Gina leads Neograft® hair transplant consultations and performs aesthetic services including laser treatments, microneedling, chemical peels, facials, CoolSculpting®, and CoolTone®. Always seeking to elevate patient outcomes, Gena has completed numerous continued education and advanced training opportunities including Microneedling and BBL certifications, Bodify CoolSculpting Training, and ZO Skin Health Expert Level Training.

Gena loves getting to know her patients, cultivating long-term relationships and following their journeys over the years, from addressing acne in their teens to enhancing skin quality in preparation for their wedding day. Making her patients feel good about themselves is her greatest professional reward.

Gena takes an educative approach to patient care. After listening intently, she explains all available treatment options to best meet individual goals, with a focus on desired timeline, results, and budget. With every treatment Gena provides her undivided attention while offering a relaxing spa-like approach.

In her personal time, Gena—a self-confessed “outside girl that likes to look like an inside girl”—rides and cares for her horses. She is the proud mother of teenage twin girls and enjoys supporting them at their volleyball, basketball, and track events.
